Provider Relief Fund Reporting Update
As you know, providers who received one or more Relief Fund payments exceeding $10,000 in the aggregate, are required to report healthcare related expenses related to COVID-19 Public Health Emergency as a part of the post-payment reporting process.
On Friday, January 15th, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced that it revised the reporting timeline for the Provider Relief Fund Program due to the recent passage of the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act. As a result, Provider Relief Fund recipients will now be required to submit their reporting requirements on their use of these funds later than previously announced (initial deadline was previously set for February 15, 2021). More information on reporting due dates to come.
Meanwhile, HHS opened Provider Relief Fund Reporting Portal for registration. At this time, there is no deadline for completing registration in the portal, however, providers are encouraged to complete registration process earlier. In addition, Relief Fund recipients will be receiving a notification about when they should submit reporting information on the use of funds. Health Resources and Services Administration will send a broadcast email to the email address you provide during the registration process.

Senate Bill 20-205: Sick Leave for Employees
Just a reminder that effective January 1, 2021, for employers with 16 or more employees, and starting January 1, 2022, for all employers, SB 20-205 requires employers to provide paid sick leave to their employees, accrued at one hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum of 48 hours per year.
In addition to the paid sick leave accrued by an employee, the act requires an employer, regardless of size, to provide its employees an additional amount of paid sick leave during a public health emergency in an amount based on the number of hours the employee works.
