I work for Integrity Home Health as a field LPN. For my annual skilled nursing competency, my agency signed me up for “Initial Onboarding Skilled Nursing Competency” provided by Amity Healthcare Group. I was surprised by how engaging and informative my 2 hour session was. I brushed up on skills that I use daily as well as covered many other topics like Wound Care, Central Line/IV Skills, and Ostomy Care. I really enjoyed the instructor named Lourdas. She was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I got a competency certificate that I am currently using for another agency I am working with.
